One of my all-time favorites – a 1964 Pontiac GTO – convertible!
Most folks forget the fact that the GTO was built from a lowly Tempest – it was just an option for that year. Defying the GM edict that dictated smaller engine sizes in the mid-size A-bodies (Chevelle, Skylark & the Olds F-85) the GTO sported a thumping 389 V8 and set the stage for the muscle car atampede of the 1960’s!
